Really good quality 👍 easy to set up has a few different options setting up I don't want to drill any holes in the wall so I just kept the little caps off the end so it's like a soft rubber and won't scratch the walls 😀 it's really sturdy my grandbaby is always pulling on it and it stays in place just fine 😊 I would definitely recommend great value

I personally didn’t use the caps because I’m renting and don’t want it to tear up the walls, it still holds up perfectly. Installation was super quick and easy while fighting a 10 month old off my legs to reach the stairs. Fit was so perfect, I was a bit worried due to the baseboard/trim up the stairs but it did great! He can hold on to the bars with no issue of it moving. I love this gate, however the ramp on it is a little questionable. It may be that I have narrow stairs, or maybe just need to push it back to avoid stepping on it. But this is the only place I could put it at the bottom to be safe. Either way, it does its job and safety first, haha.

My son recently turned 10 months old and has started exploring every corner of the playroom. He is also beginning to stand on his own, so installing a baby gate became a necessity for our home.After looking at several options, this gate caught my attention because of its size, expandability, and overall functionality. The build quality is very good. It is not excessively heavy, but it feels sturdy and durable. Once installed correctly, the gate remains stable and does not move around much.The manufacturer includes all the necessary hardware and accessories. Depending on the size you order, extension pieces are included to help fit wider openings, which is a nice advantage over some other gates that require separate extension purchases.Installation was straightforward and took very little time. I chose not to drill into my walls, and the included rubber pressure mounts provided enough grip to keep the gate securely in place. Once installed properly, the gate felt solid and dependable.The latch mechanism is also well designed. It has a good spring-loaded feature that helps the gate close and lock automatically, which is very convenient when your hands are full. If the latch does not align correctly during installation, I found that adjusting the side tension screws usually solves the problem. The top and bottom latches need to be evenly aligned with the frame for the gate to close smoothly every time.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. The gate feels secure, functions well, and offers excellent value for the price. I would definitely recommend it to parents looking for a sturdy and easy-to-install baby gate.

This gate with the stair attachment works great

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this gate works. I would note that the release mechanism to open the gate is a slight bit tricky, but once you get used to the pull and lift motion, it is fine. the gate opens and closes well. when closed and locked, it is secure. If you install it correctly and carefully, it should do an excellent job. Sizing was easy to accommodate, adjustment was easy. I am using a brown finished version which works nicely with our interior. The finish and appearance is good and it seems to be well made and sturdy.

These gates were very easy to install. They also are great because you can open them both ways and also keep them open if need be. We did them for the babies and also the dogs. We got two and for the price i am extremely happy.

It would be nice if there was an addition "spacer" that filled the space between the 35" and the 37". The length of the adjusting bolts are either a little bit too short or too long. It will in fact work but with my pit-bull the stronger the enclosure the safer the cats are

I had this for about a year before my dog broke it. He kept jumping over it and clipping it with his foot. Eventually, it basically ripped a hole in the wall and then ripped away from the wall, destroying the wall and the gate. It was very sturdy. Definitely had a great appearance and good material. So if you don’t have a destructive dog like me, it actually probably is a great purchase for you.

Do you have any extensions for this gate? or would recommend any compatible ones? I bought mine recently and fell a little short on the distance needed to cover the space.

At first, I thought it was expensive, but the quality is amazing. It works exactly how it’s described. I use this for my dog and he is a bull and yet it stays intact.

I love this gate. It is perfect for keeping my pups in one area and out of my dining room, and it’s too high for them to jump over. I will be getting another one to place at the top of my stairwell

I would say 5 start but the little ones can put their hands on the top part, around the and the bars like they are in jail, and the latch come open with just their weight while the bottom stays latched strong. Other than that it's good. Work good for round stair banisters for sure.

This might be the best gate we've ever owned. We needed a gate that would attach without damaging round stair rails, and this fit the bill perfectly. It auto closes and can also be left open when fully extended. It's perfect for what we needed. We use it to keep our dogs downstairs, but allow us humans to easily wall through.I will purchase another one for our outside decking.

This would have been a 5 star review if the ramp covering the rail at the bottom of the gate was the full length of the opening. It’s not wide enough to get both wheels of a walker over it. One side hands off and has to be lifted over the rail. I love the gate otherwise.

This item was easy to assemble and works great in my doorways. I can size up or down depending on the size of my doorway. It keeps my puppy out of places she should not be in. Which is the purpose I bought these. I have 2 in my home right now.

Easy to install, appears to be pretty secure (for a 3 year old who is about 35 pounds)I bought this last year to keep my grandson safe from a stairway at a vacation rental. He was 2 years old at the time and I felt pretty confident he could not easily dislodge it.It was pretty straightforward to install. The first time took a little bit longer as I had to read the instructions and sort out which pieces to use to fit the opening. One nice feature is that it will swing either way about 90 degrees.It is pretty easy to open with just one hand.Since I was installing in a rental, I could not screw anything into the wall so I also ordered the Wall Nanny Baby Gate wall protectors to make sure I had other mounting options besides the ones that came with the gate. They worked well with just a friction fit.To protect the paint on the walls, I used Green Frog tape before using the protector pads. There was still a bit of damage to the paint, so next time I used the Yellow version of the tape.I have now installed the gate a total of 3 times and each time it goes faster.My grandson is almost 3 now and the gate seems to withstand some moderate shaking from him. There is quite a lot of tension at the top of the gate to hold it in place even with the friction pads but I am guessing if he shook it hard enough he might be able to dislodge it.I think if you installed this permanently and screwed the receiver cups that come with the gate into the wall it would be very secure.

This is perfect for stair cases with a thin banister . Very easy to assemble. Of note we repurposed the thin foam strips for under the brackets as not to scratch the wood on the banister or the wall . It worked perfectly.I would highly recommend this gate .

This is exactly what I was looking for. It's straight forward to install and easily adjusted to fit my stairway. It's tall enough to keep my dog from jumping over to get up the stairs.The lift to open gate took a bit of attempts before it got easy but works like a charm and automatically closes. It seems well made and sturdy enough to last. I like the wall cups and adhesive sticker pads they supply so the gate doesn't damage the walls. I would recommend this product.

Great gates, opens both ways and they have a self-latching feature, which makes them very convenient when you have your hands full with a baby.I decided to move one of the gates to a different location and needed an extra extension piece for the length. I contacted the seller. They were incredibly helpful and very responsive!The gate itself is sturdy, easy to use, and gives me peace of mind with my little one. Can't recommend them enough!

We are using this currently as a dog gate.Eventually it will be used a few steps down for a baby gate. That is what is so great about this gate. We have metal stair railing leading upstairs. We use the wall on one side and a 1” square post on the other. There are V shaped clamps for the rail side and round pressure grips on the other. It is versatile and can be switched later when we change to a baby gate with our grandson. The gate seems very sturdy and stays in place when jumped on. Another huge plus is that it will stay open when you need to leave it open and need your older dog to go up the stairs in the middle of the night and is self closing once it gets to a certain point when you need to shut it quick because the puppy is charging towards you. It latches well when shut. We are very happy with this well made gate.It is adjustable for width and easy to assemble as well as looks good.
